mon cœur s'ouvre à ta voix
I've been a little...dead I guess. Sorry!

I have exams coming up and I'm pretty terrified, to tell the truth. I know I should be studying constantly now but I'm lazy and tired and lots of other excuses.

In other news, I might be going to Japan for a year! There's an opportunity to go and teach English over at a private kindergarten in Fukuoka prefecture, Kyushu. I've sent off my application and now all I can do is wait and hear if they want me. It's a pretty sweet gig to be honest -- they'll pay for flights, accommodating, food and travel expenses, and potentially a living allowance as well. My parents aren't too happy, my father especially, but considering I'll be 18 in less than a month, there's not a lot that he can do. I guess he could refuse to drive me to the airport if he really wants to be difficult, haha.

Otherwise, if that plan doesn't work out, I have uni at least, woohoo. Terrified by that too, to be honest. Everything is terrifying. I don't want to grow up.

Currently I'm playing L.A. Noire. It's great. I'm both a terrible detective and driver.

I can't wait for this week to end. School's out for a couple of weeks, I have a small party to go to, as well as planning my own. Yay, social life!

-hug- Turning 18 doesn't mean you just magically grow up and can't have fun anymore.
Last week I bought a triceratops plushie for my couch. A big one.
Do what what will make you happy x Perhaps keep the more insane stuff for home but 18 can be a great year. Especially in Japan! Or uni :)

thanks ♥ the rentals aren't helping too much, and there's so much to do in terms of applications and whatnot and it's just terrible :c

It's hard but whatever you choose to do will be something special and worth it. :)
